Dear Parents / Guardians / Teachers / and Students,

Welcome to 7th Grade Reading!

Technology is an important tool to support academics and allow children the opportunity to put their abilities on display outside the classroom. Technology extends the classroom and makes it relevant to their lives. It also creates an avenue for students to have communication with the teacher outside the regular 45 minute reading period.

This wiki page is intended to be used as a back – up tool for you to gain access to much information that is sent home with your son / daughter. Hard copies are sent home with your child and provide the expected form of communication of academic information.

Students will also have access to information through their Edmodo accounts. This site, while convenient, will not always be completely accurate or up to date. It is important that children are held responsible for delivering their own assignments and changes to those assignments. This is an important role of responsibility in the development of middle school children. The ultimate responsibility of access to information lies with your son / daughter.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Mr. Zastrow.

Sincerely,

Gavin Zastrow
